BRGPS P1 and P2 Family Day 2/10/2026  

                                                 

The P1 and P2 Family Day was a heartwarming event that successfully strengthened parent-child bonds through engaging English activities. The morning began with students confidently performing solo verse speaking, reciting poems including "My Grandmother" and "A Grandfather Just Like You" to express deep gratitude for their elders' unconditional love and care. This warm atmosphere was further enhanced as the entire class joyfully sang "You are My Sunshine" to their families in the school hall.

 

A highlight of the day was the Tea Serving Ritual, which taught students the value of filial piety. To demonstrate profound respect, the children carefully held tea boxes with both hands and served them to their parents or grandparents. During this moment, students verbally expressed their affection, saying, ‘I love you! I wish you stay young forever and have success in everything!’

 

The celebration concluded with a collaborative DIY crafting session where families made a beautiful tangerine display. Together, they decorated a piggy bank using colorful pom-poms, green felt leaves, red felt paper, and golden coins, saving a real ten-dollar coin inside. Finally, the day beautifully reinforced the true meaning of family: Father and Mother, I Love You.
